Cruise/Drive to Shucker's Restaurant on 08/06/2003
What a wonderful day for a trip on the river to one of our favorite waterfront stops. There is plenty of room to park boats and it is an easy access from the river Fortunately, we had high tide and little chance of damaging props in the somewhat shallow channel leading into the restaurant.
We had a wonderful turnout.
The food was good with sizable portions. Some of us shared one entre. However, they were somewhat unprepared for such a large group; two tables had to wait over 45 minutes for food. Nobody seemed to mind, since we were all busy chatting with our fellow members.
On the left, Rusty Ost and his crew prepare to cast off, while on the right, Bob Perrone is underway.
What can I say, the weather was good, the company was great and the food was delicious.
